Meet Colleen Leavell, our MS in Business Analytics Program Student Ambassador at the Costello College of Business at George Mason University. Colleen’s non-traditional path taught her to enjoy every second of her educational journey. Circumstances caused her to drop out in her junior year, but her dedication to learning brought her back to George Mason years later where she completed her undergraduate degree and is currently in the MS in Business Analytics Program. Always interested in Big Data, she’s excited to support fellow students in the Master's in Business Analytics Program, and happy to share her experiences.

The Costello College of Business at George Mason University is proud to announce its collaboration with the Deloitte Foundation through the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP). Starting fall 2025, this collaboration is expected to provide 10 full tuition scholarships to George Mason University students who intend to become CPAs after pursuing their master’s degree in accounting at the Costello College of Business.

The Costello College of Business online MBA program jumped 19 spots with a new ranking of #55 nationally for Best Online MBA (#41 among public universities) from U.S. News & World Report. In addition, the Online MBA Program jumped 16 spots from last year for Best Program for Veterans, landing at #34 nationally (#30 among public universities). This new ranking places the Costello online MBA program #1 in Virginia for veterans.
